Yes, all our staff actively coach and participate in demos all four days of camps.

What does each camper receive?

A New Balance camp T-shirt
Soccer ball
Autographed cards from the US National Team players

Do campers need to bring a lunch?

Yes, campers need to bring a lunch. The Julie Foudy Soccer Camp does not provide lunch. Back to Top



Can I get autographs and photos?

Yes, the staff is very willing to provide time for autographs and photo opportunities. A particular time and day will be given to this. Please respect the Staff’s need to teach by waiting until the appropriate time. Back to Top



Do campers need to bring their own water?

Yes, each camper needs to bring their own water bottle/jug. Water stations will be placed on the field and water will always be available for the campers, but campers should bring their own water jugs. Back to Top



What should I bring to camp and what should I wear?

Players are required to wear shinguards and cleats. Players should wear shorts and a T-shirt, but should pack something warm to wear in case of cooler weather. Players should also bring a lunch, sunblock and water. Back to Top



Can I request a training group partner(s)?

Yes we will try and accommodate as many requests as possible. In order for this to work effectively both players much request each other on the registration form. However we want to encourage all campers to maximize their experience with new friends and training environments. Back to Top



How will the campers be grouped?

We divide our groups by age unless a group or team has asked to be put together into the same group. We allow campers to train with groups that are older, however we only allow a maximum of a 2 Year difference. i.e an 11 year old can request to be grouped with 13 year olds but not 14 year olds. Please make sure you request the age group on the registration form.

Is your camp for girls only?

Are there any team or sibling discounts available?

TEAM DISCOUNTS:
If you have 12 or more players who wish to enroll in a camp together we will offer a $25 discount per player. We require a designated point person or “Coach” to contact us via email at Marnie@juliefoudysoccercamps.com or call Julie Foudy Soccer Camp Staff at 949-648-2050. Our representative will guide you through the on-line registration procedure for your team.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS:
If two or more players from your family wish to enroll in a camp we will offer a $25 discount for each player. Siblings must register at the same time to qualify for the discount. Please follow instructions for sibling discount on the registration form: Enter your first registration, then on the "Submit Payment" page, click "Register a sibling," and proceed to register your next child. The $25 discount per additional child will be automatically deducted at checkout.
* Please note only ONE discount is available per child - either Team or Sibling

What is your coach to player ratio?

Our coach to player ratio is one coach to every 15 players. In addition, National Team players will rotate among the groups. Back to Top

What if I am having trouble or experiencing technical difficulties doing my online registration?

What airport should I fly into?

The Mission Viejo camp is served by Orange County Airport (John Wayne: SNA). The San Diego Camp is served by the San Diego Airport (Lindberg Field: SAN). Back to Top



If it rains will camp be cancelled?

No, unless the conditions become dangerous. Back to Top



What happens if a camper is sick or injured during camp?

Qualified trainers will be on duty for the duration of all camps to care for minor injuries and illness. Parents or guardians will be contacted immediately if there is a serious injury or a child needs to leave camp early for a medical reason. Please make a notation on the health form if there is any medical condition we should be aware of in advance of the camper’s attendance at our soccer camp. Our athletic trainer will be available for questions on the first day of each camp and throughout the week. Back to Top



What if a camper is injured or sick and cannot attend camp, does she get a refund?

Cancellations made before June 1, 2008 will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after July 1, 2008 will receive a full refund minus a $100 cancellation fee. ALL NO SHOWS on the first day of registered camp will not be eligible  to recieve a refund. Cancellations may not be processed until the final camp is completed July 24, 2008.
